The mission and purpose of the Scandinavian Collectors Club (SCC) is to promote fellowship and communication among collectors of Scandinavian philatelic material and encourage research and disseminate information about such material.

In order to grow the knowledge base for a lifetime of enjoyable philatelic pursuits it is the mission of the SCC to provide appropriate services to collectors and students of such material through its library services and provide educational opportunities for its members and the public, through seminars, exhibits, lectures and other reasonable means.
